Senior Architectural & Design Team
Gary W. Wong, Founder/Principle Partner
With over fourteen years of professional experience, Gary Wong has spent the last nine years as an Associate/ Project Manager/ Designer with other well acclaimed national and local firms. His work includes many types of projects such as, but not limited to, commercial, office, institutional, academic, residential, as well as land planning and interior design.
Most of Mr. Wong's time with these other firms has been involved in finding creative solutions to challenges for Tenant Improvements, Building Shells, Master Land Planning, Manufacturing Fit Ups and Renovations, Signage and Corporate Identity Fit Ups. A Sampling of our Clientele, SUN Microsystems, Solectron Corporation, Xerox, Hewlett Packard, Matrix Semiconductor, NorthSouth Properties, Applied Materials, Techmart, and Calient Networks are a few which filter through our vast collection of diverse projects at any given moment.
He is a graduate of the U.C. Berkeley School of Environmental Design, Architecture and Landscape Architecture. Throughout the years, he has accumulated multiple awards for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Within multiple architectural firms, he has evolved the automated processes for all phases of Architectural Development and Construction Services using software and hardware aides.
He is a seasoned veteran at balancing a diverse combination of clientele and consultants, multiple contracts, and aggressive schedules and budgets. He will guarantee proper resources are applied to your project. He will personally remain connected with all aspects of the work which involves design decisions, budget discussions, client presentations, ETC.
He will be responsible for overseeing the project and interface with Engineering team. He will review budgets and ensure that all projects are completed on schedule. He will be responsible for managing the production of design and documentation for the project. He will interface with Clients, Management Groups, and regulatory agencies.
He will also coordinate the details of our consultants' work. He will assign daily work in order to meet the overall schedule requirements of the project.

Steven K. Coulthard, Founder/Principle Partner
Steven has over 16 years of experience in the identity design, interior design, signage program design and exterior storefront design. Steven Coulthard has been, and still is, the president and CEO of Coulthard Identity Group. He was lucky enough to become an apprentice for Stephen G. Coulthard and Noel Marquis in 1985 and worked under their guidance for 10 years before branching out and starting CIG. He became one of the leading brand designers in the new silicon valley economy starting in the mid-nineties.
Steven has an expanded client list that includes identity design for Gordon Biersch Brewing Company, Sun Microsystems, 3Com Park, CellMania.com, Hewlett Packard, Station's Casinos, McCandless Companies, Sobrato Development, Synergy Relocations, EFueloil.com, Sam Boyd Stadium, and many others.
His responsibilities include business development, office management, design consultation on all projects and client presentations. Steven's primary focus on projects is identity design, detail work, colors, finishes, textiles and art and artifacts.
